Do you believe that a snake won't bite without a reason? Or is it pre-destined?

I have read in the biography of sai baba, that a snake or scorpion will not bite any body unless god wills so. The answer is hazy. Do you agree such view points?
Answers:
Maybe if it has some sort of neurological disorder. As many have said if they feel threatened they will fight or flee as will most any animal including humans. I have encountered over a 1000 snakes in the wild and have seen most try to flee, some remain motionless(hoping not to be seen), some play dead, and a few stand their ground. Species, age, present danger ie you, temperature, sex, time of year, etc will all play a role in how they act. They have no reason to go in search of a human just to bite. So yes I agree that a snake won't bite without a reason.
No, I believe they will bite you whenever they get the chance.
Not at all. Snakes will strike when they feel threatened. I have had several as pets and some have never stricken at me but I had one that tried every chance it had, lol.
as a child.the person answering employed snakes as a hobby.my sidekicks and i would venture into the Everglades and attempt to capture them and other reptilian creatures of such nature.we had built a compound where we would place them, and charge the neighborhood kids 2 cents for a tour.this person was bitten twice,in the wild once by an eastern diamond back rattlesnake and once by a cotton mouth.regarding snakes, most all will not strike without reason, only when one enters it's territory,or circle of sight, which is limited.they assume this as an act of aggression.to study the nature of man by observation of the animal kingdom is absurd.one must observe the human mind to understand mankind and "it's" nature.most likely this won't answer your question, but it's sort of a cool story, that's true. a lesson well learned.anyway, since then this person took to dogs.much more loyal, and needless to say, safer.
Hello..I agree most snakes flee %26 won't strike without good reason, like messin with them as Steve Irwin loved too.. if they feel very threatened, cornered without escape...stepped on or very, very hungry to attack humans..tho venemous %26 certain species of snakes - gopher, reticulateds... can be more aggressive then others when they feel threatened or are disturbed..but I don't believe it has anything to do with God's will...Take Care :)
snakes only bite when they feel threatened or are continually provoked.
