Emergency, Please help me with this PROBLEM!!!?

I have about a year old corn snake, Ghost corn to be exact, somehow he escaped from his cage, it was sealed and i guarentee that!
i gave him fresh water, when i noticed hes not under his log, so i fingered out the sand, looked everywhere in his tank and now not trying to freak out.
i really need to know where they would hide, i was thinking book shelfs or something.
i have lots of animals but i know some of them would be scared of him.
he is about 19 inches long.
PLEASE Help me with info on what to do.
MANY THANKS TO WHO RESPONDS, AND I WILL GIVE 5 STARS AND MANY KUDOS TO WHOEVER SAYS ANYTHING AND I FIND HIM WHERE YOU MENTIONED.
Thanks...

Snakes can get into very small places and are very hard to find. I lured my corn snake out of hiding with food. Stuck a mouse in a cage and let it sit in the ktichen area, away from the fridge. Make sure he will be able to get into the cage easily but will be too fat to leave again once he has eaten.

Also look in dressers, they can get into the inner workings easy, also in bed springs and inside all sorts of chairs, coaches and other furniture. Look under the stove, fridge and near the water heater.

I would also set out a dish of water, don't want him to die a slow painful death before you recapture him and you may catch him drinking.

With any luck you will catch your snake again.
You probably want to look in any place that is dark or closed in, like a closet full of stuff or a closet corner, anywhere dark and hidden. behind boxes , dont freak out it wont help you find him.

Good luck.
Look in the warmest spot in your place. They like the comfort of heat and secret.
Always check under things, behind a refrigerator is a good place they like dark warm places and if its hungry it will try to look in things like couches and behind shelves. Most of them dont climb so look low.
I would look where it is warm-snakes are drawn to warm places. You might try leaving his cage on the floor with a light on near his log he may go to it to get warm and hide.I'd put it at the edge of the room not the middle. Good luck.
ok i had that happen to to not panik ...breath...ok..if you have tin foil put it everwhere on the ground and inside stuff... if you har the tin foil sound then he must be in that room...and also check all shoes!!

good luck
ok remember it is a wild thing no matter what and what do they do?
Look in any spot that is dark tight space, look under everything with a light and double check. BLock off that area just in case. stay close to walls and think like them. Anyspot that looks like he could get through check, cause he could have gotten under the door of if open out of it. You might have to just hope for luck on running into him.

put water out and if you feed it mice, put one wherer it can smell it and hope it comes to it(while you search.

Put up all animals until you can find it cause they may decide to play/ hurt it.
I don't know much about snakes, but my thinking is that he/she would want a place that seemed safe--probably a small enclosed space near a heat source.

If there is a "knot hole" in any of your baseboards, he/she may have squeezed through there and made a snug little nest.
well, he proably found himself a crevice somewhere in your house to hide from all of your other animals, and you will know if the other animals have found him if you hear a racket. you should look absolutey everywhere, and start picking through everything in your house, and i mean everything, because he could fit just about anywhere.look under, inside of, and around absolutely everything in your house. this could be your spring cleaning project. find the snake and help yourself as well. one time my cousn lost his python for a whole month and then one day it just turned up.
Look under stoves, behind refridgerators and tv sets, computers, anything that is warm. Look in closets, and look around the TOP of doors, where the moulding makes a little ledge. I once found a loose snake over a doorway. Also look under furniture and anywhere out-of-the way and dark. If you keep live mice, check that area out well, he might be out for a snack.

Good luck!
Hello, well I can tell ya found my snake at the farthest end of the house aways from his cage...seems he got as far as he could %26 stopped ..LOL, thankfully too, had he gotten any further..he'd a met Billy our Jack Russell Terror..so check around wall edges, it's like they like feeling their way along them ...ours busted the lock..so I believe you when you say the enclosure was secure...thankfully or for some odd reason, he's never done it again..phewww !!!Take Care %26 Good Luck :)
Good luck! I lost a python once, and it had crawled under the bottom of the bathroom sink cabinet. Turns out there was a little space to get in, had to remove the baseboard. Oh and found one inside the frame of a Lazy Boy chair! Couldn't figure out why the handle didn't work! Friend's dad was not to happy about that one! There could be endless possibilities!
he would probably hide behind or under something, where it's dark and private.
mine are usually under the radiators snuggled up together
IN THIS CASE SNAKES LIKE TO CURL AND SNUGGLE INTO CORNERS OF YOUR HOUSE. HE COULD BE NEAR SOME KIND OF HEAT THINK LIKE A SNAKE AND LOOK DOWN LOW NOT UP HIGH LIKE UNDER THINGS LIKE FRIDGE OR SOFA OR DESK OR ANYTHING THAT HAS A LITTLE CRACK.
