I was in my creek and found a light colored snake who didnt move an inch, even when i toucked it with a stick, I am in the southeast so what kind of snake is it??

It's really hard to identify with such little detail, is there any way to take a picture (like with a cellphone for instance) and posting it so we have a better idea?
Hello..no idea %26 leave it be, hopefully you haven't picked it up %26 brought it home..when you see something in the wild ..leave it be..specially aquatics .. they carry diseases they are immune to but you, your family %26 other pets are not, especially so with snakes..even babies are venomous %26 babies often play dead to survive..so if you have it, let it go...they do not need parents nor people to to survive !!! In any case, I need a lot more information. All I know is that it was light-colored and in a creek. It could be a water snake (Nerodia), but it could also be a lot of other things. Here's a page with some water snakes:

We need some more info before anyone can help you. You should just leave it alone before you get bite.
