Does any one know what kind of snake that is red with white oval spots?

Answers:
It sounds like you are describing a coral snake. Do you have any other information about its appearance?
I think it's a coral snake or something like that.
I dont know but I think it can be a rattler.
Hello..it helps to know what state your in %26 spots am not sure of rings on a snake is what I know of ..there's a rhyme for you about ringed marked snakes ...red on black is OK...RED ON YELLOW..KILL a fellow !!! Hopefully you do not take it from the wild %26 just enjoy it...IN THE WILD ..preferrably from a safe distance ...Take Care :)
Red on black-venom lack not red on black OK...(see it rhymes the whole reason why people remember it ugh. people that don't know what they are talking about frustrate me. Im not sure what type of snake has spots or ovals on it but these have rings around them that might help http://surgery.uthscsa.edu/stpc/snakes.a... Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Good luck
Come on!
You've GOT to be able to give a better description than THAT!
First, where in the world are you located? How big is the snake? We need a few more details.
Coral snakes have red, white/yellow, %26 black bands down the length of their body, I would not consider them to be "oval spots." There are several, harmless, species of snake that have a similar color pattern. There is a rhyme, made up, to tell the difference between a coral snake and one of its harmless mimics. One version goes, "Red on black, you're OK, Jack. Red on white, beware of it's bite." The rhyme does not, necessarily, apply to all species of snakes.
Sounds like a coral snake and they can kill you, have a look at this site.
