Gecko Gone Pirate?

My lizard recently shed, but we were away for a weekend, so I wasn't there. His outmost layer of skin had grown over one of his eyes. All of the excess skin came off except for the eye. I am worried because it seems to make him more lethargic than he used to be. I am afraid it is because he can't see as well, and therfore cannot eat. Does anyone know of this happening, and what to do about it?

Hello..for now up the humidity with daily or twice daily mistings %26 always good to have a soaking dish that they can lay in if they choose too..you can also take a wet cotton ball %26 gently lay on his eye for about 5 minutes, check it see if it's loosening... soak it a little more if you wish... unless he gets too figity.. it might take a day or two...they won't starve by not eating for a day or so..good health sign on lizards is plump tails where the tail meets the body..Take Care :)
You need to take it to a vet as soon as possible. There is a good chance that it has lost it's vision.
if it's sticking to his eyeBALL then take him to a vet, if its just his eyelid pull veryyyyyyyyyyyyy carefully or just let him get it himself chances are it will be fine.
