Has anyone ever watched a bearded dragon lizard eat a baby mouse(pinky) and is it cool or gross?

Silly question. That depends on if you are squeamish or not.

You can always feed it a frozen then thawed pinky then you don't have to deal with the ick of a live meal.

It's just Nature to me, not cool or gross.

Mine ate plenty of greens and veggies.they loved green beans as well as crickets, superworms and some pinkies.
hows your attitude toward nature? they eat mice they do not tear it up and sling blood all over if that is what you might be thinking its a quick lunge a few cracks and chomping then it's gone. not alot to it. I think it's pretty efficient as reps go but a beardie can live it's entire life healthy and happy without ever seeing a mouse so if pinky eating is not in your future it doesn't have to be if you have or are getting a beardie. there are videos on youtube if you really want to see it.
Hello..it's Nature...we feed snakes, all they eat is mice, rats or hamster, freshy thumped or frozen %26 thawed..so not a problem for us to feed rodents ;) Take Care
it isn't a matter of being cool or gross, it's about providing your pet with the needed nutrients found in a pinky(calcium, magnesium, etc.) that are more abundant in that format than in greens
My Bearded Dragon eats pinky's. No it is not gross. It is a natural function of a predator. They do not sling the body of the mouse, mine just grabs it and swallows, no mess or blood. I consider it to be pretty cool because it is nature in action. It is not necessary to feed pinky's to your Dragon. The only reason I feed to mine is as a treat he mostly eats Dragon food and greens.
