The info on African girdled lizards is very sparse. This is the only sexing info where they show pictures (that I could find in a couple of minutes). Isn't Google wonderful?

The male is on the left (triangle shaped head); the female on the right (narrower head).

Hope this helps. :)
It sounds like you need to do a whole lot more research before you breed.
It's not as easy as it seems.

Do you know what temperatures the eggs/babies need?
What about humidity?
Do they bury the eggs or make a nest?
What are you going to do with the babies when they arrive? Most pet stores don't take animals from local breeders.
Do you have the space?
Do you have the money to run the incubators, heat and UV lights, and any thing else that they need?

PLEASE, please, please learn more about the lizards you have. Please find a mentor to help you. I just don't want you making any tragic mistakes.
check for a penis. that one is a male.
Hello..I'd check with a reptile store for the best answers, but I can tell gender is about TEMPS..what exactly makes for males or females am not sure ..but a good reptile store would know ..>Take Care :)
