How do the crab get into the pots on the show deadlist catch?

Hello...never watched the show, am guessing they would be like alot of other pots tho..open so things can crawl or go in, but they can't get out...usually wide where they crawl in, then narrower at the bottom of the entrance cuz many things if they can get their heads %26 shoulders in, they can't back out ...or they have a flap the opens from the pressure of the water flowing thru or can be push open but closes once they are thru .Take Care :)

the slots are kinda cone shaped so they can climb in but cant climb out
