this morning I discovered a frog by my window. It wouldn't have been so bad if it wasn't in my room.
I have a huge fear of frogs. which is weird considering i live in Florida and there are frogs everywhere.
I seriously can't sleep knowing it's in here.

Navigate the frog or toad so it is in an area where it cannot escape. Your approach will scare it and cause it to move, so make sure it will not jump into a bush or through a fence. Corners and open fields are ideal locations.
Quickly grab the frog or toad. Humans are much faster than them. You may try to use a bucket or jar, but it is usually harder than just hands.
Put the frog or toad into a high container. They can cling onto many surfaces and may "wall jump" out unless you cover it with a breathable lid.
Shine a bright light at a frog or toad in the middle of the night. This is called spotlighting; the frog or toad will be like a deer caught in headlights, and will be unable to move.
You may want to buy or make a Toad House so that your frog or toad will stick around, or you can let it go in your garden/backyard.
Tips
Frogs and toads will not bite, but some species are poisonous (see warnings).
Frogs and toads will not give you warts; this is a MYTH!
Be the toad! Think like a toad or frog and your success will greatly improve.
Warnings
Many frogs and toads, particularly rare species, are protected by law. Catching them may be illegal in some areas. Check local regulations first.
Some species in tropical regions (called 'arrow-poison frogs') have extremely toxic secretions of fast-acting nerve poison on their skin. Handling these species can kill you. Arrow-poison frogs usually have very conspicuous warning coloration patterns in bright red, orange or yellow - if you find one of these, do not touch it.
While not lethally dangerous, the skin secretions on many other species of toads (including the ordinary brown Common Toad) can cause skin rashes in sensitive people. Handle with care, and wash your hands thoroughly afterwards.
Frogs and toads will urinate when frightened. Urine can stain clothes and skin. You may want to wear gloves.
Frogs and toads, like all wild animals, carry bacteria - wash your hands after handling.
Do not attempt to eat the toad or frog raw, cook it to an internal temperature of at least 160 degrees. Light salt and pepper, and a bit of lemon juice will enhance the desired "Froggy" flavor so sought after in the South.
Be gentle with the frogs or toads you catch. If you abuse them or violate their rights, they will haunt you and frighten you.

Kiss it and it'll turn into a Prince. Then you can ask him to leave.
if your happy to pick it up first wash your hands with just water, (acid on our hands can hurt their skin along with the soaps we use ect...) then cup your hand over it bringing your other hand under it to bring both hands cupped.
if you don't want to touch it place a plastic tub in front of it and then touch its back end, it should hop right into the tub, quickly cover the tub and then take outside,
make sure you leave it in a sheltered position ;)

well.. put a big cup over it and shift if outside..
You've got to catch it - with a towel - and carry it ouside. Release it far enough so that it won't get back into your house.
Don't kill it - frogs are useful, and harmless.
i don't know. i'm also afraid of frogs... i think the best way would be hit: hit it not that hard to make it fee dizzy, scope it with dust pan and throw outside...
I doubt you have the stomach for this, but ask a family member to get some small crickets or mealworms or something, and put them in an open container. See if the frog will jump in there, enticed by the food? Not sure if that would work, but if you see it when it jumps in, someone can carry it back outside. They are really fast so it will be hard chasing it around the room. Course if it doesn't get enough water it will dry up -- look for a warm or dark, maybe more humid, area in your room and maybe it's hiding there. But believe me, I know you are scared of it, but it is more scared of you, and can't bite or harm you in anway, unless you eat it and get salmonella.
Frogs like to croak. So go to the local CD store and buy a Frank Sinatra CD. Put Frank on and wait. The frog will come out of hiding to croak along with Frank and "BAM" you nail 'em.
