lately all my leopard gecko seems to want to do is sleep and only wants to come out of its hide to eat and crap is this normal

Totally normal...plus, they're noctural, so I only see mine running around after 10 pm when I turn his lights off.

yes that is normal. if you want to try and induce more activity, you can try raising the temperature a few degrees and that may induce more activity.
YES, I HAVE FOUR LEOPARD GECKOS AND THEY DO THE SAME THING. THEY ONLY COME OUT WHEN I TURN THEIR LIGHT OFF. THEY ARE VERY LAZY LIZARDS
