My friend has a small snake. She feeds it every two weeks. It's time to feed it again and the snake won't take the mouse. She's tried putting it in it's mouth to try and stimulate the snake to eat.
What are the ways you can stimulate a snake to eat?

Snakes need heat, humidity, hide box, clean home or they will stop eating...to stimulate the snake when it won't eat, offer different types of food, (nightcrawlers, crickets)isolating the snake and feeding it in total darkness or try a live pinkie.
Do not handle your snake for several hours before feeding and you should not handle it for 1 - 2 days afterward, as this may cause it to regurgitate. Also snakes will stop eating when they shed their skin, mating or are pregnant.
dont feed it for a month!!! it will go super hungry, it might even eat you
It will eat when it is hungry - leave it alone - I think some snakes fast before they shed their skin.

Keep offering food items weeky for 4 weeks.. chances are it will take one in this time. If it continues to fast brain the item..make a small hole in the skull of the prey item and using a nail or pin smear the brain over the head. The snake will then eat.
If its being fed every 2 weeks it will go 2 months easily without eating.
The only other thing likely is it is breeding time.
Live mice can hurt or kill the snake. The frozen is better thaw out in warm water like your friend does.
The snake probably is going to shed again so don't try and feed it leave it alone for a couple of weeks.
Does it have a skin over it's eyes? That is one way to tell if it is going to shed.
